Despite sounding ordinary, in and out are very powerful prepositions. Someone may be “out of a job”, or “in a career search mode.” We are encouraged to “think outside the box” as well as “look inward.” For a career development practitioner, examining and applying the words “in and out” to daily work habits, could lead to discovering the value of actions beyond one’s purlieus. ~ David M.
